March 5th, 2020 by Pastor Solley1 Cor 12:25-31 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

I don’t come from a large family as some do, I have one sister five years younger than I am. With that age difference there was not a lot we did together growing up. But I never liked to fight with my sister, still don’t. So I will not let things come between us. As far s our relationship is concerned I would rather take the wrong than see anything drive us apart. That should be our attitude in the body of Christ. God doesn’t want to find any schism in the body. (Verse 25) This especially in the area of service. What if someone is called to a particular office and another called to a different office? Should they compete one against the other as people do in the business world? What if one seems to have more success than the other? Should there be a jealousy? Or should we care and support one another in the service of our Lord? Read the above Scriptures again and you decide.
