1 Cor 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

But what can I do? That may be a question you have asked or heard someone else ask when talking about serving the Lord. Indeed, what can any of us do? This chapter along with Romans twelve and a few others show the believer in Christ that we all can do something in service for the Lord. We may be limited in talent, limited in knowledge, limited as far as charisma is concerned, but we all can do something. Why? Because all have been given certain spiritual gifts. I want to look at this chapter this week as I will be preaching on it this coming Sunday and look at the servants of the Lord. Be assured of this Bible truth this morning, you are able to do something because you have been given certain spiritual gifts. (1 Cor 12:4-7 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.) What they may be and how they can be used we will examine this week.
