Isa 30:18-19 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
KJV
“Blessed are all they that wait for Him.” I want to apply that in two areas this morning. First we are to wait on the Lord, look to Him to supply every need, even the desires of our heart. By waiting I mean bring everything to Him, big or small, urgent or not, bring all to the Lord. When we learn to do that we have taken the first step to blessings. Second we are to be patient as we wait for the Lord to move. Not everything will happen at once, some things we must wait upon. Not only does God do all things well God does all things well in His perfect time. There are things I have been praying about for years. God has not given a definite no, so I continue to pray daily about those things. I need to wait on Him, be patient and understand that God’s timing may not be mine but His timing will be perfect. As I wait with patience it is a second step to receiving blessings from the Lord.
