Ps 97:10-12
10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.One of the tests of how much we love the Lord is how much we hate evil. I hear from people all the time now how much they love Jesus. They love him with all of their heart. That being said I wonder how so many who love Jesus can sit down with evil. How can they do the things they do, go where they go, talk as they do, watch what they do on TV and so on? To love the Lord should be to hate evil. And for that matter how can they stay away from the house of God the way they do? It is one thing to talk of how much one loves Jesus, everyone does that. It is another thing to show it and live that love. Few do that.
