Deut 33:26-27 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
KJV
How far can I fall? Last evening at choir practice there was a little one walking and crawling around on the risers. Her mother would hold her hand, I would hold her hand as she passed by, others would hold her hand, all in an effort to keep her from falling. It reminded me of how our heavenly Father holds our hands as we travel through this life. A few times the little one broke lose and one time did fall but did not fall very far as arms reached out to grab hold of her. As we think of these verses we see God’s arms underneath us so that if perchance we break loose from His hand there are capable arms waiting to catch us and keep us from falling very far. I thank Him today for His everlasting arms.
