Isa 49:14-16 But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
KJV
There are many times when we as believers feel as Zion felt in this passage, forsaken by the Lord. Normal circumstances of life, unusual events, the attack of Satan, many things can make us feel that way and that takes place many times. But are we ever forsaken by the Lord? That answer is found in verse 15 and made sure in verse 16. How much does a good parent love a child? Can they forget about them when they are in need? My children are grown and I still care and worry over them, pray constantly for them and my care for them is just a drop in the bucket when compared to how much God loves us. Each time the hand of God moves He sees us, is reminded of us. That is the picture in verse 16. No matter what is happening today you have not been nor ever will be forsaken by God.
