2 Thus saith the Lord that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

I find myself thirsty in the mornings. I know what to do about that little problem. A glass of water, a glass of juice, a cup of coffee and that thirst is gone. I also find myself thirsty spiritually. What to do about that little problem? Watch some TV, watch the news, take a drive, talk to my wife, none of those things help quench the thirst. But some time in His Word, some time in prayer, some time talking to and listening to God and that thirst is gone. That is why it is so important to spend time with the Lord in the morning, spend time with the Lord each day, our thirst will be quenched. Most all have had blood work or medical procedures when they could have nothing to eat or drink after midnight. All one can think of is eating or drinking until the procedure is over. That is the way it should be with time with the Lord each day.
