Daily Devotions

Jude 21-25 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

As Christians there are some things we are to keep, some things our Savior keeps. Here I find that I am to keep myself in the love of God. That does not mean I need to keep God loving me but that I need to keep loving Him. I have heard people say you can’t choose who you love and that simply is not true. We do choose who we love and we even choose how much we love them. How can I keep myself in the love of God? I need to spend time with Him, spend time in His Word, spend time in prayer, I need to know God. I need to keep my eyes on the Lord, not be infatuated by the world but Have my eyes fixed on Him. I need to think of the good things of God, meditate upon them and not on the evil around me. Those things will keep me in the love of God.
