Mic 2:1-3 Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
2 And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
3 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
KJV
I often wonder today how people can be so evil, how they can lie so easily, at how they seem to get away with things. Yet when we look at the world around us and the actions of the lost it is good for us to remember that there will be coming a day of accountability. With that in mind there are a few things we need to do as Christians in light of the evil that we see in this world. We need to keep ourselves just and honest before man. Don’t let the actions of the lost influence you to evil as well. We need to keep ourselves just and honest before God. That means not only our outward actions but our heart as well. We need to be ready to give an account of our lives before God. Doing that may just have an influences on the world around us instead of having the world have an influence upon us. People do devise all type of iniquity today but that is no reason for us as believers in Christ to join in with them.
