Ps 150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
KJV
The book of Psalms ends with a great praise chapter and it is a fitting capstone for the life of David. David had many triumphs in his life and many failures, many victories as well as some defeats. But through it all David found out by experience that his God was faithful, the Lord never let David down. We find the very same thing to be true in our lives today. In this world as Christians we have many victories but also our share of defeats, we have triumphs and failures just as David did. But looking back we find this true as well, our God is always faithful. The times I have failed Him have never led Him to fail me. This thought alone can bring us to a point of praise.
