2 Chron 32:7-8 Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:
8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

What tremendous words of encouragement for the child of God are found in these verses “With us is the Lord our God to help us”. Can there be a better way to face each new day, each new challenge, each new trial than to know that the Lord our God is there to help us? King Hezekiah needed this truth as he faced an invading army and we need this truth today, we need it to be real to us. The only way to make this real in our lives is to walk daily with the Lord, to stand with Him at all times. If you read this chapter you find that the king did his part in preparing to face his enemy and as Hezekiah did his part he knew God would do His part as well. I don’t know what you are facing today but I do know this, when we stand with the Lord He stands with us to help us in every situation.
