Why should we have a desire, a hunger, a longing for the Word of God? That question is answered in verse three of our text this morning, the Lord is gracious. No one has ever come to Jesus and found Him anything less than gracious. Not only in salvation but in every area of life and circumstance Jesus is gracious. What do you have without Jesus, what can you do without Jesus? Jesus is our all, he grants forgiveness and salvation, provides, protects, directs, and we can all on Him all the time anytime. I have tasted and the Lord is gracious. Just think of all the things Jesus does for you. I got a text this morning about 5:00AM from a dear brother asking for prayer. I got on my knees and prayed. About half an hour later I received another text, the prayer had been answered the way we had asked. I know my Jesus is gracious.
