1 Tim 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

One problem many professing Christians have is that they will not enjoy what God has blessed them with, they always want more and want the wrong things. Many things the world has to offer we may be called to do without. I do not have a mansion to live in, I don’t have side by sides, ATV, a huge bank account, those things I do not have. But what have I been blessed with? I have eternal life, I have a good church and a good church family, I have a Christian helpmeet, I have more than I could ever deserve. Why not then as a Christian thank the Lord for what I have already been blessed with instead of thinking of what I don’t have?
