Matt 12:14-15 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

Why is it the gospel has continued, the Bible still stands? No book has been so attacked, no preaching has been so maligned than the gospel message, but both endure. Why? Because both are of God, both are sustained by the power of Almighty God. Christian, when it seems Satan is winning the battles of your life flee to the book, flee to the one who stands forever and can never be defeated by the power of the devil. Too often we move away from that which has endured, we move away from Him that Satan has no power over, we move away from the one who can sustain and encourage us. Remember what the Pharisees tried to do to Jesus, what they tried to do with the gospel message, remember that. But also remember that they could not do what Satan had influenced them to do, they could not destroy the Bible and they could not silence the message. Don’t allow Satan to do those things in your life today.
