May 6th, 2019 by Pastor Solley1 John 4:10-13 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

One of the marks of Christianity is love. We are born in this world with the ability to love and we do love many people in this world. But we usually love those who give us reason to love them. We love parents because of what they do or have done for us. We love children because of what they are to us. We love people who do things for us, who share interest with us, we love people who give us a reason to love because we are born with the ability to love. But we are not born with the ability to love those we consider unlovable, that is not natural to our flesh. That ability to love, to love the unlovable comes only when Jesus Christ saves us and takes up residence in our life, then we can love as God wants us to love. How can an individual help but love after they have been touched by the love of Jesus Christ? That changes us, that love makes it possible for us to love as Jesus loved and loves. Are you able to love even the unlovable? If that answer is no then you had better make sure that you are truly born again.
