1 Tim 4:10-11 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

Those who claim the universal fatherhood of God for all men and women point to this verse, He is the savior of all men. But they don’t consider the entire verse. He is the savior of all men in that He died for all on the cross. But to know Him as savior one must believe, one must come in repentance to Jesus Christ, confess that they are a sinner, and ask Him to save them. God wants to be your Father, sent Jesus to die for you so He could be your Father, but is only your Father after you believe. Have you trusted Christ today?
