2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
KJV
What of your soul today, what does it thirst for, what does it pant for? I have a picture in my mind of David rising in the morning and the first thing he wants to do, the first thing he must do to satisfy his soul is meet with God. I know these things did not exist at that time but David does not turn on the TV, does not pick up the smart phone, does not get on social media, David meets with his God. Is that you this morning? It should be but for many of us that is not the pattern we follow. We must first turn on that TV, get on face book, see who tried to messenger us, we move in many different directions before we move toward God. No wonder so few today have a real relationship with God, there is no thirsting in our soul.
