2 Sam 5:24-25 And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the Lord go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.
25 And David did so, as the Lord had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.

What blessings follow when we just do as God says. As David was about to lead Israel into battle against the Philistines God gave him a battle plan that no military leader would ever follow. David had a decision to make, obey God or fight the battle the way that any military leader would. David decided to obey God and a great victory followed. I can only wonder what might have happened if David had gone his own way? Even in our lives there will be many tings that we just need to trust God in, just trust. It is not that we need to understand all things or even the way God is working, we just need to trust. I wonder how many blessings we might have robbed ourselves us because we did not trust?
