Ps 91:1-3 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
KJV
A snare, verse 3 above, is illegal to use in PA because they are deemed to be cruel to the animal caught in one. The more one struggles to get free from a snare the tighter it gets. Hung from a branch above a trail used by a fox the fox can get its head caught in the snare and it will hang itself by trying to get out. A snare works in other settings the same way, when an animal gets caught it tries to free itself and the snare gets tighter and tighter. It is the same with sin and traps set by the devil. As one gets caught in sin they never stay in the same place because the more one fights that sin the more entangled they get in that sin. The only remedy is Jesus Christ for He can deliver us from the snare. What sin has a hold on you today? Jesus already knows and stands ready to deliver you from it if you will acknowledge that you are trapped and turn it over to Him.
