Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
KJV
With the New Year approaching this verse presents a great challenge for the born again believer in Christ. We live each day making choices that determine who we are living for. Are we living for self or are we living for the Lord? Many who profess to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior show little or no desire to live for Him. If they are truly born again only God knows, but new life should be accompanied by new life. How can one saved from hell, how can one who has been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, how can one who has had sin forgiven continue to live in sin? Look back over the past year and see what type life you lived, was it for Jesus or was it for self? Then look into the New Year and determine what type of life you will live in 2019, will it be for Jesus or self?
