December 7th, 2018 by Pastor Solley1 Kings 17:21-22 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again.
22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
KJV
We do not wait to hear the voice of the prophet for revival today, we wait to hear the voice of God. In that day Elijah was the voice of God among the people and he did preach and bring revival as we see in this passage, revival to the dead. Today we live in a dark and dying world and the church has and is following the world to the point that it is almost dead. Can there be revival? Only when one calls out to God as the mother of this child of God called out to Elijah. Only when one believes that God can bring revival as this mother believed Elijah cold revive her child. Only when one stands before God and allows God to touch them as Elijah touched this child. There can be revival, but do we want revival?
