Gen 10:8-9
8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.

One needs to be properly equipped to be a hunter, as we saw yesterday, one also needs to have a desire to hunt. All the equipment in the world will do little good if it is not put to use. My son wants to buy a new gun to use this hunting season, what I really need is a desire to hunt. I have guns, have the clothing, have the boots, I have everything I need except perhaps the desire. I used to get excited about deer season, but no longer. To hunt for souls one needs to have a desire to do it. We have the message, we have the Bible, we have the marching orders, what we need is the desire to win the lost to Christ. When was the last time you shared the gospel message, invited someone out to church, handed out a gospel tract? If you can’t remember it is not that you lack equipment, you lack desire.
