Ps 119:15-16
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
KJV
There are times when one needs to just stop and think upon the things of God, to meditate. There is too much noise today and we bring much of it on ourselves. Always have to have the cell phone in our hands, see what is on face book, listen to music, watch the TV, text people, all the time, we have surrounded ourselves with noise and it will drown out the voice of God. David took time to meditate and it caused him to delight in the things of God. We need to take some time today to just be silent before God and I know from experience it will bring the same results. Why is it that many professing Christians seem so frazzled today even though they listen to many sermons, listen to the right music, go the right places? Could it be because they never spend a quiet moment with God? David knew the importance of meditation and so should we.
