Ps 33:12-14
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
KJV
What a blessed and comforting thought to begin the day with, “The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.” My day usually starts alone and I do many things alone through each day. But do I really do things alone, does my day really begin alone? Not according to my Bible. Even as I write this devotional this morning I am not alone. When I get in my car later on I will not be alone. The Christian never does anything alone, never goes anywhere alone, is never alone and to me that is a blessing. There is someone interested in what I will do today, someone who will listen as I pray, someone who will be with me always and to me that is comforting. It can also be a sobering thought for when I am tempted and tried, I better stay true to my Savior for I am never alone.
