Eph 1:21-23
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Think for a moment this morning of the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, of who He is, of the position He holds. The Bible tells is that Her is “Far above” all and everything in this world and in the world that is to come, in eternity. He is from eternity past, His is eternity future. All the angles bow before Him, all of creation came into being because He spoke and it was and is. Meditate upon this Jesus, and then think of the time He wants to spend with you and what He did to make that possible. To know Jesus is to stand is awe of the cross. To know Jesus is to stand in awe of the fact that He wants to spend time with us. So many things we Christians take for granted, at least it seems that way, because we seldom stop to consider who Jesus Christ is.
