20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think , according to the power that worketh in us,
Jer 33:3
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.Knowing that we can come before the Throne of Grace in prayer, knowing that God the Father hears us, knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ makes intercession for us, knowing that God answers prayer is such a blessing and comfort that it cannot be put into words by this preacher.
But would you also notice that God goes beyond what we ask or think, and that God does things that we know not. We often wonder why every prayer is not answered in the way that we want and in the very moment we pray. But could it be that God is working to do even more than we ask, even more than we could know? According to the Bible that is exactly what God is doing.
Think of what you have been praying about, what you have been praying for. And then think back on how God has worked in the past doing even greater things than you could ever imagine. God is still working like that today. What a blessing to know that today God is going to do even above and beyond what I have asked.
