Ps 37:1-5 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
KJV
Trying to show the teens that there is a better life in Christ than the one the world has to offer. That is one of the goals of our VBS especially for the older students. We want to see them saved, but we also want them to see what a wonderful life it is when one walks daily with Jesus. It all begins with trusting Jesus Christ as savior and then as the Lord of our life. I can say after 50 years after I was born again that He has given me many of the desires of my heart and that the ones that have been held back are ones that were or are not good for me to have. Have you committed your life to Christ? Do you delight in His way? Those are the keys to the higher Christian life, to a better life in Christ.
