Heb 13:12-14
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.Jesus suffered without the camp. In the Old testament the sacrifices, what was left of them, were taken without the camp to be done away with. Jesus suffered without the camp. He was separated from the world unto God. That is the picture we should get here. Now will we be separated from the world? In verse 13 we are called to go to meet Him without the camp. Separate from the world unto God. That is not an easy thing to do. It never has been. But if we desire the full blessings of God in our lives we must separate. Separate from sin, from the world and stand with Jesus Christ. Jesus is still without the camp today. Are we willing to stand with Him and bear His reproach? Willing to resist the call of the world and be different for Christ. Willing to deny the flesh and stand in the blessing of God. Are we standing without the camp today?
