Ps 91:9-12
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
KJV
Another familiar text is found here in Psalm 91. But when we read with open heart as well as open eyes, when we place ourselves in the Bible as we saw yesterday we then can make those verse apply directly to us. Did you know we really can make the Lord our refuge? What do you do when you are distressed, when you are troubled, when weariness overtakes you? At those times we can pick up our Bible, we can read His Word, we can pray giving all of our worries and fears to Him, we can make Him our refuge. When we do this all of our troubles do not magically disappear, but we are given strength to stand because we do not stand alone. What a blessing to feel the arms of God, to feel the angels bearing us up. If you have never felt that dear Christian then you have not made the Bible alive to self, you are not putting yourself in the Bible.
