Gen 1:1-5
1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
KJV
Do you believe what the Bible says in the very first verse of God’s book? Do you believe that all things begin and end with God? God takes no more steps to prove this truth than what He says in the very first book of the Bible. Do you believe it? If so, then why do so many ignore that truth most of the time in their lives? Do you begin your day with God? Do you set time aside to make God the first one you talk to in the day, His Word the first thing you read? Do you go about your day with a desire that God direct your steps? Do you allow God to make your decisions throughout the day? Do you look to God for wisdom, for guidance, do you allow Him to shape and mold you? If you believe Genesis 1:1 then the answer to those questions is yes. But if you must answer no to some, most or all of those questions, then you must reconsider what you believe and practice.
