Beloved, think it not strange concerning the firey trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
KJB
Why is it that the Christian seems to be under so much trouble and trials today and what can we do about it? I watched a brother in Christ dealing with an extreme trial yesterday and it has brought me to this verse. Satan seeks to destroy the Christian and he will use any means possible. People lie and others believe them, they seem to be capable of doing anything and get away with it. Understand what Satan is trying to do to the redeemed, he seeks to destroy the people of God. What can we do? The weapons of our warfare are not carnal my friend, they are and must be spiritual, so we pray. Prayer may not seem to work at first, but when we rely on the Lord, when we honor His Word, why we walk by faith in Christ the outcome will be the same with us as it was with those precious saints we read about in the Bible. Daniel had to wait on the Lord for deliverance and even had to be lowered into that den of lions. Peter had to wait on the Lord for deliverance and had to spend that time bound between the guards who would kill him. In both those incidents it was prayer that moved the hand of God, so we pray. I don’t know what your trial is this morning, what you are dealing with, but I do know the answer and that is to get on your knees before God and pray, pray, pray.
