Titus 2:13-14
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
KJV
Hope is best when it is realized. I have this hope this morning, the hope of meeting Jesus in the air. (1Thess 4:13-18) Still, at this present moment it is hope. It is a hope that is sure, a hope that is steadfast, but it is still hope. One day I will see Jesus Christ, the one who died for me, one day I will stand with Him in glory, one day the troubles of this life will be over, one day there will be no more tears, one day hope will be realized. I often look at the clouds and wonder what the cloud will look like that will bring Jesus to meet us in the air. I watch the sun rise or set with the wonder of one day standing with the Son of God. There will be no sun rise this morning as I can hear the rain coming down outside, but that is OK with me, I will still be looking for the Son of God and that warms my heart. Hope is best when it is realized.
