Eph 5:14-17
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
KJV
The best thing about time for the Christian is looking forward to the time when time will be no more, looking for the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the rapture of the church. Of course time will not end with the rapture of the church because the tribulation will follow for seven years and then the Millennial Reign of Christ for one tho9usand years. But for the Christian time will end at the rapture when we are caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus Christ and this before the tribulation period. When will Jesus come, when is His return? This is a question asked by many today and I can answer it this morning. Jesus will come according to the time appointed by God the Father, not one second before and not one second after that appointed time. What does this mean for us as Christians? As we do not know the time of His return, and as He is not going to reveal it to us, we then need to make proper use of our time while here in this world. That is why we are told two times in the New Testament, redeem the time, redeem your time, take it back from what is robbing you of time, and make proper use of your time, be wise and not foolish.
