22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Do you ever stop and think of how many things you ask God for in prayer and how many things we can ask God for in prayer? Jesus said “Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer”. That is a wide, wide range of things is it not? Now we know we are to pray within the will of God and we also know that we are not to pray for things God cannot give. For example, I cannot or should not pray that all my loved ones live forever and that we have no troubles in our lives. Both are against the set laws of God. (Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: ; John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.) Some things I should not pray for. But how many things can I pray for? It is almost unlimited. I can pray for health, for protection, for provision, for the necessities of life and even for the desires of my heart. I can pray for mountains to be moved or removed, for the salvation of the lost and for the hearts and minds of the redeemed to be moved. I can pray for nations and leaders, for churches and families, I can pray and find myself unlimited in what I can pray for. With all this being true I often wonder why we do not pray more.
