105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

Do you ever stop and notice just how difficult it is to function in the dark? While we were away last week I was awakened in the middle of the night and found myself in a strange place with unfamiliar surroundings. The bed I was sleeping in was different, the room was different, noting was what I was used to and it was dark. The immediate need was for light and thankfully there was a light to be turned on so I could see and navigate. Life is like that, we need light to function properly. Our light needs to come from the Bible, God’s Word, for it is our eternal source of light. The Bible has the answer for every problem in life, the Bible has direction for the Christian, the Bible has wisdom for those who seek it and comfort for those I need. Yet as I write these words the vast majority of people in this world are wondering in darkness and will not look to the light that they need. But sadder than that is that the vast majority of those professing to be Christians will ignore the Bible today as well. They will not read it, will not heed it, and most will not make themselves available to the daily light that they need. The Bible is our light my friend, take time each day to turn it on.
