19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Should there be an urgency about fulfilling this commission? Yes. This was given a little over 2,000 years ago, things have continued on, why should there be an urgency? The Bible warns of such compliancy in 2 Peter 3:4. That reference is in regards to the lost, but believers can fall into that line of thinking as well. I have been saved for 49 years, for the past 39 at least I have heard preaching on the Second Coming of the Lord, why should I see any urgency about sharing the gospel? Because we are in the last days, the promise of Jesus is true, and people need to hear the gospel before it is too late. Just look at the signs of our times, the increase in Satanic activity, the gross depravity of man, and we see that people do need to hear about Jesus, do need to hear the gospel. Even if Jesus does not come in our lifetime there are millions of people dying each day around this world without Christ and they will spend eternity in hell. Pick up the daily news and read the obituaries, people are dying each and every day and they needed to hear about Jesus. There is an urgency.
