2 Chron 29:27-2927 And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.
28 And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
29 And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.

Do you have a song, the song of the Lord in your heart today? Music and singing make a wonderful study in the Word of God. Music has been used of old by God in leading His people tp prayer, praise and worship of the Lord, How different than the music of the world. People wonder why they are so far from God today. Yet consider what people listen to and pour into their mind by the way of music. They pour songs about alcohol, drugs, fornication, murder, incest and all types of things into their minds all the day long and then wonder why it is that God seems so far away. Then they add to it by putting images to it with music videos and the TV.
I wonder how long has it been since you spent the day with a hymn upon your lips? God did and does use music to touch the soul and spirit of men, but it has to be His music. Try singing a hymn for a change and see if you begin to feel closer to the Lord. Try singing a hymn through the day and see if your walk with the Lord improves. What sone in on your lips today because you put it in your heart?
