I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
I said in my haste, All men are liars.
What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Will your passing, your death be precious to God? Death is something that few people want to think about to the point where many I believe think they will live forever. But death is coming for all of us. I write this today because I just got news of the death of a man I have gotten to know over the past few years. He professed to be saved and I pray that he truly knew the Lord Jesus Christ. But it causes me to stop and think of all those who will step into eternity today. Not all go to a better place, for most their death is not a precious thing. It only is when you know Jesus Christ as your personal savior. Is your death going to be precious to God? What about those around you, those you come in contact with daily? Are you trying to win them for Christ? Death can be a precious thing.
