Titus 3:5-7 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
KJV
If to be justified and that means to be made just as if I have never sinned, and justified in Christ, then how secure am I, how secure are we in justification in Christ Jesus? Note that we have been made an heir in eternal life. What the Christian has received in salvation is eternal, never ending. Doesn’t that then tell me that I am now justified for ever, that my justification is eternal and thus my position in Christ is eternally secure? That is the way my simple minds reads it as I study the Scriptures. There are many that I come in contact with that believe they can lose their salvation, that some sin they commit will cause God to take that salvation away. Now to be sure I am not sinless, I battle the flesh as much or more than the next fellow and I lose my share of battles with my flesh, I am not sinless. Yet I know that because of Jesus Christ I still stand at this moment justified before God the Father. Why? Because the Father see me through His Son as He does each and every individual who comes to Jesus Christ for the free pardon of sin. To me the greatest joy in justification is knowing that it is eternal.
