Ps 67 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
KJV
Psalm 67 speaks much about people and nations and often that is how we tend to think about God, or at least many people think that way. He is a God that controls people and nations, He is a God that controls all that goes on in the world and He is all of that that. But He is also a God that cares about you, He is, if you are born again, your God. (Verse 6) He is, the God of all creation, the God of all, your personal God. As your personal God He knows all about you, every fear, ever heartache, ever physical, financial, and mental need He is aware of. Not only is God aware of them, God is interested in them. It would be good for all of us to think of God always in this personal way because when we do that it helps our devotional life, it helps every area of life. Do you know Jesus Christ as your savior today? Then He is your God.
