Mal 3:7-97 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Will a man rob God? Israel was doing just that. An examination of this chapter in Malachi shows just how they were robbing God. Of course in not giving and tithing as they should. That is seen in the text. But also in not keeping to ordinances of God. (Verse 7) In refusing to repent when they know they were wrong. (Verse 7) Later we se they spake against God, would not speak for God, blamed God for things going wrong in the nation. They were far from God and were robbing God of the things due Him. Tithes, service, blessing His name, being a people for Him. Israel robbed God and paid a high price for doing so. But what of us today. How many of us rob God in similar ways?
