February 11th, 2010 by Pastor SolleyActs 4:10-1310 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
Christian; is it a common occurrence or a rare one that people will look at you and take knowledge that you have been with Jesus? When they saw Peter and John, saw their actions, heard them speak, they took knowledge that they had been with Jesus. Can that be said of you by those you come in contact with every day? Do people know you have been with Jesus by the way you live, the words that come out of your mouth, the place you refuse to go? How many people will see you today and know that you are a Christian? Sad to say that for most professing Christians there could not be enough witnesses found to convict them if charged with being a Christian in a court of law. Christ should be seen in you and me, people should be able to see us and know we have been with Jesus.
