Rom 1:14-17 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
KJV
Does it seem to you that they only people who seem to be ashamed today are the Christians? Our society today is overrun it seems by those who have no shame. The woman’s march in DC on Saturday excluded a group of women who were pro life. What were they marching for? The right to murder their own babies. Vulgar signs and slogans, what were they saying? They have a right to be rude and vulgar. The homosexual agenda that is aimed at making everyone applaud their lifestyle. What are they saying? Accept sin and say nothing about it. The only voice that is silent seems to be that of the Christian and I wonder what we are ashamed of? Are we ashamed of the Savior who died for us? Are we ashamed of the Bible that points us to Jesus Christ? Are we ashamed to have a home in heaven, a way of life that separates us from sin and unrighteousness? What are we ashamed of? If nothing, as Paul was not ashamed, then it is time we made our voices heard as well in this world. A Christian has no reason to be ashamed or apologize for our lifestyle, our beliefs, the God we serve and worship, the Holy Bible, we have nothing to be ashamed of. It is time to make ourselves heard in this world.
