2 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
3 And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.

Here we find the end of revival, or an ongoing revival. The people had a mind to be given to God, to the Word of God, and to worship. This is also going to lead to service for the Lord. Revival will not come about easily, it always comes with a cost. But whatever the cost revival is well worth it. In Nehemiah the city was restored, the walls and gates rebuilt, and worship resumed in the Temple which would soon be rebuilt as well. Revival was worth it. Today we can see lives restored and rebuilt, worship resumed, and lives made better by and for Jesus Christ. I am hearing already of snow coming today and tomorrow, more snow on Sunday and early next week, what will this do to our revival services? It will not hinder those who are willing to pay the price for revival, for those who are willing to count the cost. Revival is worth whatever it costs.
