Eph 6:13-14
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;Standing in truth is very important as we saw yesterday. What or who can you depend upon today? Precious few my friend, precious few. Yet we can always depend upon the Lord Jesus Christ and the truth of His Word.
Yet that does us little good unless we walk in it, unless we put His truth into practice. That is putting on the breastplate of righteousness. Wearing something that can be seen. But this is not for show, it is for practical use. When we obey the Bible, when we act in a way pleasing to Christ, when we do as He did by the power of the Spirit of God we put on His righteousness. That is something that will protect us from the attacks of the enemy. Satan has nothing to accuse us of, nothing to hold against us when we are covered with the righteousness of Christ.
