15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
KJV
What will you think about today? The Bible tells us to meditate upon Bible, upon the Lord, upon all the things that God has done, is doing, and will do for us. There are things we should meditate upon. Most people today will think about their problems, about their illnesses, about the election, about sports, about many things, but few will meditate upon the Word of God. Why? One reason is because few will read the Bible at all. Just a few moments to start our day in his Word makes a huge difference during the day. Then just to think about what God said to us makes an even bigger difference. Just consider the above verses and what they tell us. If we read and meditate upon His Word, if we respect it and obey His Word, this opens the door to the bountiful blessings of God. Think about that and if they seem to be missing in your life, the blessings of God, perhaps it is because there is little time spent in his Word and even less time thinking about his Word.
