August 8th, 2016 by Pastor SolleyNine souls were saved at our camp last week, that you for your prayers.
Jer 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
This in one of our memory verses this month at church. Think of this verse for a moment, what a sad, sad truth it is that is given here. How many people do you know that this verse applies to? People often put off receiving the Lord Jesus Christ and His free gift of salvation, put off going to church, put off doing anything spiritual, put those things off until later. But life is like the seasons of the year, they change without waiting for anyone. We just finished our summer camp and someone stated that summer was over and so it is. All the things that one wanted to get done, the places they wanted to go during the summer have perhaps been left undone and now summer is over. So does life pass so quickly with many things left undone. I hope that is not true of you spiritually, I hope Jer 8:20 does not present a picture of your life, but for many I know that it does. But take heart, there are still a few weeks of summer left and still some time in your life to get things right with the Lord. There is still time to be born again, still time to walk with Jesus, still time to serve Him. But remember, summer will soon be over.
