Peter 5:1-8 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Satan will also attack the younger ones, younger in the Lord as well as younger in years. (Verse 5) Our young people today face the same enemy that we did, he is no more fierce now than he was in our younger days. But things have changed today in that there is more for Satan to use to distract them. Look at the young people, younger Christians on their cell phones, spending hours each day looking at that screen, captivated by it. It does not have to be anything evil that they are looking at, but it takes them away from things more important. What if they would spend just a fraction of that time in Bible reading and prayer? What if they would spend some of that time in serving the Lord? Then there is the evil that can be displayed in their hands each and every hour of each and every day. Then you have the worldly church that they must contend with, the many Bible perversions, the music, TV, movies, DVD, CD, how many things they must face. For those older in the Lord, more mature in the Lord, and those older in years, the young people need you, need you to take a stand for the Lord and be a leader for them. Satan is out to get them, we must be willing to stand and give them a Godly example to follow.
