May 20th, 2016 by Pastor SolleyEph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:22-23 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

The greatest spiritual blessing of all is that Christ has finished it all, He “Filleth all in all”. What do I need to add after salvation? Absolutely nothing. Yes we are to grow in the Lord, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, there is to be Christian growth. But think of a baby as he or she is born into this world, there is nothing to be added to that precious life. Our second grandson is almost eight months old and he is growing. There have been changes from the time he was born into this world in September until now, and there will be more and greater changes. But there is nothing going to be added. He already has a voice box, already has two strong legs, hands that work and so on. When he begins to talk, walk, and throw things with those hands he will be using things he has already been given, nothing is going to be added. So there is nothing to be added to the Christian after salvation, nothing we need to add to keep it, Christ has finished it all, we are complete in Him. That is the fullest blessings of salvation, to know that as we grow, as we mature, as we serve, Christ has done and does it all. Complete in him.
