John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Just about everything you purchase today comes with an expiration date, Canned food, frozen food, milk, bread, processed meats, fresh meats, soda, medicine, they all come with expiration dates. Did you know that car seats for infants even come with expiration dates? That date tells you when something will perish, when it cannot be used. In our text verse for the week we find that whosoever places their faith and trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sin will never perish. The moment an individual is born into this world they have an expiration date attached to them. It is not a date one can see, not one known to us or others, but one known to God. (Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.) But when one is born again in Christ, saved by the blood of Jesus, that expiration date is erased. Yes we will still die physically, but we now will never perish. The moment our heart stops in this world we will be found forever in the presence of the Lord, our expiration is gone forever.
